Lorraine teaching Rachel Gall a tune.
In recent years, Lorraine Hammond has sought to pass on the music and traditions she grew up with as a child to the community in which she was raised. And she has spread them to a broader community as well through her teaching, recordings, and performances. Under a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts she passed on to Cornwall singer and fiddler Rachel Gall the music she had learned as a child from Cornwall musicians. A homecoming concert by Lorraine and Bennett stimulated Rachel and others to start Still, The Homegrown Band which played concerts and dances in Cornwall for many years.

Still the Homegrown Band.
