Mehitabel Guernsey Dibble, also known as Mabel, was an Administrator for the estate of her husband, David Dibble.

Typically, the only woman likely to be an estate administrator was the widow of the deceased. It was highly unlikely that a woman would be the only administrator. The legal system at the time required at least one man to be one of the administrators. In this case, it was Zachariah Howe Jones, the brother-in-law of David Dibble.

In 1784, Asahel Alvord brought a suit against the estate of David Dibble for money owed to him by David. As one of the administrators, Mehitabel was named in the suit.
