The Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) was founded in 1941 to conserve the natural character and environmental health of area communities by protecting and restoring the lands and waters of the Housatonic watershed.
The HVA works with property owners and local governments in 83 towns, including Cornwall, and have preserved more than 5,000 acres of forest, farmland, wetlands and riverfronts. They have offices in Cornwall Bridge, CT, South Lee, MA, and Wassaic, NY.
